Welcome to the Pennsylvania Career Readiness Support and Training website portal.

Pennsylvania’s economic future depends on having a well-educated and skilled workforce that is prepared to meet the current and projected demands of a global, knowledge-based 21st century economy.

The PA Career Readiness is the solution for schools as it provides districts across Pennsylvania a framework of training and consultation in Career Education and Work (CEW) standards curriculum integration, College and Career Readiness and Teacher in the Workplace opportunities with Work-Based initiatives. This framework offers a more student centered approach to workplace learning activities in education and building workforce and stakeholder connections and opportunities for collaboration with educators.

  • Do you have the classroom resources to help students achieve their goals?
  • Are your students engaged in meaningful activities to support their career portfolios?
  • What opportunities are available for you and your students to expand knowledge of the 21st century workplace?
  • Do your students have a post-secondary pathway for success?

The resources available on the PA Career webpage will offer the support and training needed to make your classroom career ready!

Our representatives are trained in curriculum integration for CEW standards as an effective tool for creating and supporting the initiative goals in the classroom. These trainings will assist in the comprehensive planning process in the development and maintenance of K-12 guidance plans and assist in the alignment of the PDE’s policies. As schools become more focused on career readiness and postsecondary pathways, administrators will become better equipped to meet the current and projected demands that the knowledge-based economy is demanding of our students’ growth by exploring various career paths that lead to a successful future in career readiness.
